As someone who has read practically every article on Joel Spolsky's blog, Joel on Software, nothing here came as a surprise. Most of the general concepts, and some of the specific stories and anecdotes were repeats. But it's still an excellent book...

I cannot say enough good about this book. I am very pleased with both the book, and the service I received. It's a perfect gift for family and friends or sending off with students going off to college. The characters were either good or bad, no depth. Toulouse grew on the banks of the River Garonne and is the fourth largest in France (after Paris, Lyon, and Marseille).
