I didn't quite love this work as much as "North Wind" as there was more violence to it. Having said that, I do not want to suggest that any of Hakim's narrative is controversial nor to suggest that the material she presents lacks authenticity. He was swoony book boyfriend perfection. If you buy this book to teach your child the importance of hard work and planning ahead you are in for a big disappointment. I did not know that Chan was based on a real character who appears in this novel. Easy to follow instructions. She loved this book and pointed out the cover is just like Maurice's suitcase.
