Which is part of why this novel is such a joy to read. THIS ONE IS OFF THE CHAIN. This is the second book in the Beacon of Hope series and I am pleased to say that you don't have to read the first book to get to enjoy the characters of this book. This book allows us to discover our true self in the light of God’s love. Recording this GM history is also a gesture of appreciation to GM for the great career opportunities provided him. I enjoy all of the Death on Demand series and will continue to buy each new one. Perhaps had it been written with a bit more distance by the sports writer ghosting this ersatz autobiography, with more on Dekker’s formative years and from his time in the pro ranks, this book could have proven itself much-better.
